Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information London Flow collects, why it is collected, and what rights you have. London Flow is a sole trader based in Bromley, London, and is the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect

If you use the enquiry form on this site, we ask for:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your postcode or area (optional)
• A short description of the job

We only ask for what is needed to understand your job, reply to you and, if you go ahead, arrange the work. If you call or message us on WhatsApp instead, we will hold whatever you choose to tell us in that conversation.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote (this is at your request).
• To arrange, carry out and invoice work you ask us to do (to perform our contract).
• To keep records of gas and plumbing work where the law or a safety scheme requires it (a legal obligation).

We do not use your details for marketing, we do not sell them, and we do not share them with anyone for their own marketing.

Who else sees it

Enquiries are stored on our website's secure hosting and database provider and emailed to us. Those providers process the data on our instructions only. We may also share details with an accountant, insurer or regulator where we are required to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to completed work, including invoices and gas safety records, are kept for six years to meet tax and safety record-keeping requirements.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

• Give you a copy of the information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
• Stop using it for a particular purpose

Email general@londonflow.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page visits and measure how quickly pages load. These do not use cookies, do not track you across other websites and do not identify you personally. See our Cookie Policy for more.

Security

Enquiries are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in a private database that is not publicly readable. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as card details through the form.
